This morning I found myself watching QVC for an hour.
They were selling the Vitamix blender. I can’t help but be mesmerized by its capabilities to blend whole fruits and vegetables into raw, delicious, drinkable smoothies. If you haven’t heard, Vitamix is THE premiere blender. I guess I would know, since I have been a proud Vitamix owner for about a year and a half now.
I had a birthday recently and my father and I were casually discussing what I have to show for myself thus far.
I have a savings account and I’m gainfully employed but apparently that wasn’t enough to satisfy my old man.
So, I told him… “Well, I have a Vitamix blender…investing in appliances is an adult thing, right?”
Unsurprisingly, buying a $500 blender still didn’t impress my dad.
But isn’t that kinda what life is?
Throwing a bunch of crap together and hoping for the best?
Maybe add some kale, a banana, a few blueberries and for good measure, almond milk?
If it doesn’t taste that good, the hope is that it will at least be good for you in the long run.
